Makita have a range of Forstner drill bits which are ideal for giving clean cut; flat bottom holes; pocket holes and through holes. They are suitable for precise drilling and high quality finish into woods. The benefit of a Forstner bit is that they are guided by the outside of the outer rim of the drill bit as opposed to the pilot drill meaning they can be used on an angled surface.
