The Makita cordless planer is an excellent power tool for finishing all sorts of jobs. It can be used in door and window installation, general carpentry, deck installation on boats and remodelling. The two-blade cutter head with double-edges carbide blades add performance and an extra smooth finish.

Replacement blades (34-A-85400) fit the 1050D and 1051D planer models as does the drum (161134-5). The battery holder (643909-9) fits the same models and 71 other Makita tools. The 626LLB ball bearing (211016-2) replaces obsolete parts number 211-018-8.

The all purpose DC1804 battery charger can work with nearly all Makita battery packs. It charges batteries from 7,2V to 18V of both Ni-Cd and Ni-MH. A flashing LED lights indicates the status of the battery charge.
