The original Black & Decker Versapak batteries are no longer available but these batteries are a non original replacement and work just as well as the originals do.

These NiMh batteries are comparable to that of the gold batteries, the chemistry is a much nicer combination than that of Nickel Cadmium and as a result it lasts longer and no longer has the "Memory Effect" that they used to have.
