This is a Genuine Makita Makblade designed specifically for cutting up MDF board. As you know MDF is held together by a special resin, when cutting through it can attach itself on to the blade dulling it a lot quicker, these blades have a special anti rust/ corrosion coating in order to keep the mdf board from damaging the blade.
