This is a Genuine Makita Makblade designed specifically for cutting up MDF board and to leave you a fine finish on your cut. As you know MDF is held together by a special resin, when cutting through it can attach itself on to the blade dulling it a lot quicker, these blades have a special anti rust/ corrosion coating in order to keep the mdf board from damaging the blade. This blade is designed so that it has minimal vibrations, this then allows you to reduce the noise during the work, give a much accurate cut as it reduces wobble in the blade.
