This bit is designed to be usable in multiple materials without the need to change, which means its ideal for doors, shelves, window frames and similar applications. This is made possible by the sharpened, high resistance carbide tip with a reinforced head. A hexagon shank is present for maximum torque. This can be used with rotary action on materials such as vitrified brick, wood, aluminium, plastic, iron and cast iron. Percussion can be used on brick, block, stone, plaster, marble and most grades of concrete. The tungsten tip is made to a DIN8039 standard.
